Per 1M token rates: $8.75 (480p, 720p), $9.625 (1080p), $5.00 (4K), $7.00 (Fast), $4.375 (Mini); tokens = width × height × 24 fps × seconds ÷ 1024, which is why 4K costs about 2 times 1080p per second despite the lower token rate. What a request can carry

  • Duration: 5 to 15 seconds (seconds).
  • Resolution is fixed by the SKU; ratio via metadata.ratio: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9 or adaptive.
  • Audio: metadata.generate_audio true or false.
  • References in metadata.content[]: up to 9 images cited as @image1 to @imageN, first and last frame images, reference video, and reference audio alongside an image or video.
  • Private asset library: upload once, then reference by asset:// URI inside metadata.content[].

Which Seedance 2.0 SKU should I use?

Mini (480p or 720p, about $0.04 to $0.09 per second) for drafts and high-volume previews; 720p or 1080p for delivery; native 4K (about $0.97 per second) when the final output must be 4K without an upscaling pass; Fast for quicker turnaround at 720p.

How long can a Seedance 2.0 clip be?

5 to 15 seconds per request. Seedance 2.5 extends this to 30 seconds and 30 reference images, but does not offer native 4K.

How is a Seedance 2.0 request billed?

Per token on the actual output: tokens = width × height × 24 fps × seconds ÷ 1024, at $8.75 per 1M tokens for 480p and 720p, $9.625 for 1080p, $5.00 for 4K, $7.00 for Fast and $4.375 for Mini. The worst case is pre-charged at submission and the difference refunded on settlement; failed tasks are not billed.

Can I animate an image or fuse several references?

Yes. Pass up to 9 reference images in metadata.content[] and cite them in the prompt as @image1 to @imageN; first and last frame images, reference videos and reference audio (alongside an image or video) are supported too.
