Refund Policy

RelayDance runs on prepaid credits. You are only ever charged for output that is actually delivered; the rules below describe exactly how that works. The Terms of Service govern where the two differ.

Failed generations are never billed

If a generation task fails or errors, whether because of our infrastructure, the upstream model provider, or an invalid result, it is not charged. This is automatic and requires no action from you.

Asynchronous holds are released automatically

Video generation is asynchronous. When you submit a task we place a temporary hold sized to the worst case for the requested duration and resolution. When the task completes, the final charge is recalculated from the actual output and any difference is returned to your balance immediately. If the task fails, the entire hold is returned.

Credit purchases

Credit purchases are final and non-refundable except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise, as set out in the Terms of Service. For a generation failure demonstrably caused by a defect in our infrastructure we may issue a courtesy credit.

Moderation outcomes

Upstream providers apply their own content moderation. A request that completes but is rejected or sanitized by upstream policy is not a service defect and is not refundable; a request that fails outright is never billed, as above.

Disputes and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first and we will investigate the task records with you. Initiating a payment dispute against a charge that is valid under the Terms of Service is treated as a material breach.

Questions about a specific charge: email support@relaydance.com with the task id and timestamp.
